From a Broadway worthy extravaganza to the personal activities that occurred in each classroom, our grandparents experienced a bit of what we treasure most about Charleston Day. Thank you for visiting and making memories.
As grandparents entered the school, they were escorted by an eighth grader into the gym, walking along a “red carpet” (paper covering the brick alumni walk). Students in grades K-5 presented a selection of songs from Broadway, including, “A Bushel and a Peck,” and “Dough Re Mi.” After the show, they accompanied their student to their classrooms and even visited art, science and the library.
