My favorite part of teaching is during shared novel studies with my students. I love reading and being dramatic, bringing stories to life by giving each character a different voice and watching my students use their imaginations as we read together. The best part is the rich conversations that emerges from everyone reading the same book. I also enjoy finding creative ways to use novels to strengthen reading, writing, vocabulary, and speaking skills while helping students grow both academically and personally.
