I strive to create a classroom environment that is orderly and highly structured with an air of openness to creativity and discovery. My favorite teaching moments are when children unknowingly and knowingly say things that make me laugh. I love the way they are so candid and without guard. I also cherish memories of students who initially were very timid about learning lines for a performance, and then they ended up being the “stars” of the play.
