My favorite part of working in a school is when teaching happens beyond the lesson plan — during aftercare, coaching, or even a quick hallway conversation. Those everyday moments that reinforce relationships are powerful opportunities, and they often leave the most lasting impact on students. I was drawn to Charleston Day because it’s a place where  relationships matter, and where everyone is invested in helping kids grow into thoughtful, responsible people.
