Gibbes Museum Junior Docents

Last week, as part of a culminating project for the eighth graders involving research, writing, art and public speaking, Charleston Day School’s eighth graders became junior docents at the Gibbes Museum of Art, sharing their wealth of knowledge about artworks and artists to their parents and museum-goers. This tradition and partnership with the museum is a valued one, offering wonderful exposure to the arts and art history.
