Celebrate a Scorpion Day

We invite the entire Charleston Day community— alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, and staff — to participate in our second annual Celebrate a Scorpion Day on Friday, May 1!

What is Celebrate a Scorpion Day?

Let’s build upon our success from last year, Scorpions! This is a day of Red and Blue energy, participation, and fun for our students and a way for Scorpions from all over the country to engage in activities while participating in a Day of Giving.

We invite everyone to WALK LIKE A SCORPION and celebrate the collective generosity of our community.

Start Supporting the Giving Day!

Make a pledge towards our walk-a-thon and support students, faculty, red team, blue team, your graduating class, and Charleston Day overall!

Any donations made through this link will be applied to Celebrate a Scorpion Day totals! All gifts support Gateway Giving, Charleston Day’s annual fund.

Ways to Participate

WEAR Red and Blue or any CDS gear to promote your Scorpion pride. Post a photo on social media with the hashtag #WalkLikeaScorpion and tag CDS.
SHARE with family and friends. Share this link with people in your network.
GIVE to Gateway Giving. A donation of any amount counts for our participation goal!
ATTEND our walk-a-thon if you are in town (here is the schedule for the day). There will be chances throughout the day to actually “Walk like a Scorpion” and showcase Scorpion energy at CDS.
