The Parents’ Council is pleased to announce a Box Tops for Education contest! The class with the most Box Tops at the end of the year will win a class party! Details on the class party will be announced at a later date. Please put a note in your envelope or bag of Box Tops indicating your child’s teacher and grade so that we can give your child’s class credit. The teacher can then turn them into the front office where they will be collected and tallied.
SUPPORT CDS WITH BOX TOPS / PUBLIX / HARRIS TEETER
Through the Box Top and grocery store programs, over $1000 was raised last school year. Please remember to clip all of your box tops and send them to the front desk.
Please scan your card every time you visit Publix. Cards are available at the front desk.
Time to re-link at Harris Teeter. Please ask your cashier to do this next time you are in or go to: http://www.harristeeter.com/community/together_in_education/tie.aspx.
The Parents’ Council has a rack full of used uniforms for sale in the Scorpions Den storage closet. These items are available for purchase and restocked on an ongoing basis. Feel free to take a look when you are able and note that all items are $5. If you would like to make a purchase, please make your check out to Charleston Day Parents’ Council and place your check in the envelope on the rack. Additionally, if you would like to donate uniform items that are in nice, clean condition, please bring them into the same location and place them in the appropriately marked box.
Whether you are working parents, stay-at-home parents, or a mix of the two, there are many ways to get involved! Volunteering your time is a great way to get to know the school and our community. We are always needing help in several areas: classroom volunteers, faculty appreciation, enrollment office, advancement office, and Parents’ Council events below.
