2020 Halloween Carnival
Each year, the Parents’ Council plans, organizes and delivers a spectacular Halloween carnival for Charleston Day School students. This year’s event fell on Thursday, October 29, and even with COVID-19 safety precautions in place, the spoo-ooky half day did not disappoint! The campus was transformed into a haunted masterpiece with plenty of spiders and their webs. Students dressed in their creative costumes, donned their masks, and celebrated a day of fun and festivity. Grades K-8 enjoyed fun classroom, gym and outdoor activities hosted by volunteer parents and faculty, and of course…sweet treats! A parade of costumes was timed to allow for socially distanced judging in the front parking/play area. Congratulations to all the students and teachers who won best costume awards! Congrats also to everyone who contributed to such a fun and welcome event for the students.
