Our 8th grade hosted a Halloween party today for their “lunch buddies” from Memminger Elementary School, strengthening the bonds of this special relationship.
The eighth graders worked together to plan the entire party, creating various stations for the children to move through, such as cookie decorating, parachute play and pumpkin crafts.
As part of our character education class, the 8th grade partners with the preschool students at Memminger. Each week, our students walk the few blocks to the school, and they visit with them during lunch and recess.
They have us on their campus every week, so it was nice to be able to welcome our neighbors to Charleston Day School.
