An All-School Art Show for Charleston Day? Let’s do the math:
With about 260 student artists in K-8, and an average of 3 artworks displayed per student…that’s a lot of artwork that was shown last Thursday evening! Congratulations to the students who worked so hard this year, and kudos to art teachers Mrs. Hopkins and Mrs. Seitz for taking the time to make it all sparkle.
The Commons and hallways were taken over with student-designed footprints for the “art walk”, a video shared candid photos from the year, and hundreds of masterpieces hung from the ceilings and adorned standing displays and walls. We appreciate those who came and celebrated the accomplishments of these young artists. Thank you for your support of Charleston Day School’s visual arts!
