Red Ribbon Week

October 12

Many thanks to our Parents’ Council, who planned an amazing week of activities centered on making healthy choices — whether it relates to nutrition, physical activity or drugs and alcohol.

Red Ribbon Week kicked off with an energizing performance by “The Break Circuit” Dance Group. They invited students — and even faculty members — to the dance floor and ended with a breathtaking finale flip!

Students created posters for healthy living and dressed up for special days (all red, their favorite book character, their favorite superhero), wrote a note to a special superhero in their life, and brought in canned food for the Lowcountry Food Bank. The middle school grades experienced programming from MUSC’s Center for Drug and Alcohol Program (CDAP). We are “RED”y to make healthy choices!
