Sixth Grade Explores Space Camp

October 10

Sixth graders experience life as an astronaut at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. The first day of activities included an IMAX movie, “Dream Big” and a practice mission, where each student is assigned a role such as pilot or commander. Once the shuttle is in space, “anomalies” are presented. The students are still frustrated by the anomalies but are learning how to work as a group to solve the problem. We look forward to seeing how they perform in their official mission Thursday.
