On Tuesday, as part of their annual Day of Service, Charleston Day students were visited by representatives from Roper Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, and Camp Happy Days who talked with them about their organizations and the types of service they provide. The day began with a word of encouragement from Charleston Mayor John J. Tecklenburg. Students made cards of gratitude and support for the Healthcare Heroes who work at Roper Hospital and then went home to serve in their communities. By the end of the day, students performed 273 acts of service and received 143 points for the Blue team and 130 points for the Red team! Way to go, Charleston Day!
