CDS Business Manager Wins Award

Congratulations to Charleston Day School’s Business Manager, Heidi Whaley! She is the inaugural winner of the Bill Gantt / Dewar Business Officer Award. The Bill Gantt / Dewar Business Officer Award is presented annually to a Palmetto Association of Independent Schools (PAIS) business officer who has consistently shown generous support of their time, energy, and efforts in the spirit of collaboration and collegiality within the independent school business officer community in South Carolina. It is intended to recognize an individual who contributes to the work and advancement of their fellow business officers in the state. This award is named for Bill Gantt, who served the independent schools of South Carolina for over 40 years as the AWG Dewar representative. The award recognizes Bill’s penchant for developing strong relationships and enthusiastically serving and supporting the business officers of the independent schools in South Carolina.
